Andy Priesman - President

Greenway Insurance & Risk Management Agency, Inc, was established in 2007 by Andy Priesman. Andy started his career with the New York Life Insurance Company and then later went on to start a Farmers Insurance in early 2005. In 2008 after Hurricane IKE Andy saw the writing on the wall with Farmers and decided to turn his agency into an independent insurance agency, specializing in personal and commercial lines insurance. This allowed Andy to expand into new markets and open up branch offices in Plano and Austin, Texas and Oxnard, CA. This allowed Andy to add insurance agents, new insurance carriers and ultimately represent the client and not only be captive to one insurance company. Today Greenway Insurance is a mid-sized independent firm serving consumers and businesses in Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Oxnard, CA and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Greenway has a retail and wholesale division with 18 employees. Greenway’s wholesale division works with start-up and established agencies to market access, technology and insurance premium aggregation.

Andy Priesman is a native Houstonian and grew up in Sugar Land, Texas and later earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas. Today Andy lives in Austin, Texas with his beautiful wife Elana, and his daughters Mia and Evie.

Rob Lopez - Director of Sales

Rob is a native of the Greater Houston area and attended the University of Houston where he studied Broadcast Journalism and Business.  He started his insurance career in 2004 as an Allstate Agent, then in 2006 he went independent, and as Rob likes to say, “I’m never going back!”.  Most recently, Rob served as the National Sales Director for Integra Insurance Services, where he led the expansion into 11 new states and the addition of over 100 new agency partners.  As the Director of Sales for Greenway Insurance, Rob will oversee the Retail and Agency distribution channels, and will look to continue to grow our agency plant regionally, and nationally as well.

Dawn Kleinschmidt - Agency Operations Manager

Dawn started working for Greenway Insurance in 2012 after moving here from Louisiana.  She is our operations Manager who will assist our Network Agents with many aspects of their Greenway partnership. She has 22 years of experience in the insurance industry.  Dawn and her husband belong to an organization called Ainsley’s Angels. They lend their legs in marathon races to those who are unable to run! Dawn loves traveling, motorcycles, cross fit and sports!
